About The Position
CCI Facility Support Services, LLC is hiring a MicroStation CAD Technician for its Redstone Business Line. The role combines CAD drafting in MicroStation with Department of War space-management data systems. The technician will capture and maintain accurate, standards-compliant CAD data, integrate it into the Enterprise Pro-Active Real Property Interactive Space Management System (ePRISMS), and support Army facility planning and space-utilization decisions. The position reports to the company’s office in Huntsville and involves both office work and outdoor site visits.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation V8i.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening after an accepted offer and have acceptable background-check results.
- If applicable to the contract, obtain the required clearance level and be able to obtain access to military installations.
- Be able to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with coworkers and clients.
- Be able to bend, stoop, sit, walk, or stand for prolonged periods; work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather and on rough or uneven surfaces; and routinely lift up to 35 pounds.
- Use required personal protective equipment properly when required and maintain a constant state of mental alertness.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of Army real-property or installation-management systems.
- Familiarity with space-planning issues and facility-utilization concepts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ePRISMS standard-file CAD data using Bentley MicroStation V8i.
- Conduct field surveys using laser dimensioning, GPS, imagery, scanning, and photography to capture accurate data.
- Perform facility-use investigations and space studies, and verify linear and square footage through physical measurements.
- Enter collected space and manpower data into ePRISMS via the Dashboard.
- Coordinate facility point-of-contact interviews to gather category codes, UIC, population, and personnel-type data.
- Ensure CAD deliverables meet DoW spatial data standards and company and program quality-assurance requirements.
