As a Design Technician (Civil/Structural Drafter), your key responsibility will be to work with our team of highly skilled in-house engineers, using our CAD standards, to create engineered drawing submittals for design/build earth retaining structures and deep foundations. Drawing submittals typically consist of civil/structural plan view overlays, profile views, section views and structural connection details developed in the Autodesk AutoCAD 2D environment. Occasional development of 3D models to better understand potential design restraints and conflicts may also be required.

Requirements

• 3-8 years of experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD)
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D (required)
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in Civil 3D and/or Revit (desired)

Responsibilities

• Create engineered drawing submittals for design/build earth retaining structures and deep foundations using CAD standards.
• Develop civil/structural plan view overlays, profile views, section views, and structural connection details in Autodesk AutoCAD 2D.
• Occasionally develop 3D models to understand potential design restraints and conflicts.
