About The Position

CACI’s Digital & Enterprise Solutions (D&ES) Sector is seeking a CAD Manager. Responsible for overseeing the configuration control and development of network documentation utilizing CAD systems and processes. This role requires a deep understanding of AutoCAD and MS Visio technologies, configuration management principles, and data management practices to deliver high-performance, secure and modern network solutions that enhance mission readiness across Army CONUS locations. Requirements

  • US citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance
  • Technical BS degree with 5 years of experience in CAD management and operations
  • Proven track record of successfully managing CAD systems and processes
  • In-depth knowledge of CAD technologies, software, and tools.
  • Certified CAD Technician (CCT) or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of configuration management principles and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and resource management tools

Nice To Haves

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Experience in a DOD or US Army engineering and system integration projects

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement configuration control policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all CAD drawings and models comply with organizational standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to gather requirements and incorporate feedback into CAD designs.
  • Manage CAD files, ensuring proper version control, documentation, and storage.
  • Ensure all CAD designs are properly versioned, documented, and stored in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Manage change control processes to maintain data integrity and consistency.
  • Oversee the management of CAD data, including storage, retrieval, and archiving.
  • Provide technical support to team members for CAD-related issues.
  • Assist in training new employees on CAD software and processes.
  • Ensure all CAD drawings and models are accurate, complete, and meet quality standards.
  • Implement data management best practices to ensure data accuracy, security, and accessibility.
  • Work with a team of CAD professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Identify and document opportunities for process improvement within CAD systems and workflows.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between CAD teams, project managers, and other relevant parties to ensure that quality deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on quality assurance activities and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and AutoCAD
