About The Position

This role is responsible for designing equipment floor plans and merchandising layouts by collaborating with Marketing and providing site-specific scopes of work. The specialist will coordinate information transfer between Circle K and architectural/engineering firms, develop and maintain equipment and design standards, and provide guidance to region facility personnel. They will also create and maintain an in-house organization of site plans, drawings, and photographs, and assist in determining project-specific equipment requirements and costs for purchase orders. The position also involves increasing professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking, and contributing to team efforts to achieve company targets.

Requirements

• Must be computer literate in Auto Desk AutoCAD software, Adobe Photoshop, MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Knowledgeable in store marketing, image and company operations.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in technical design or related field preferred.
• Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
• 2-3 years’ experience working in construction, marketing, service management or more preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design equipment floor plans and gather merchandising layout by conferring with Marketing and providing site-specific scope of work.
• Coordinate transfer of information between Circle K and architectural and engineering firms by continual communication with Construction Managers and Real Estate.
• Develop and maintain equipment and design standards manual by working with Region personnel.
• Provide guidance on projects by supporting needs of Region Facility field personnel.
• Create and maintain in-house organization of floor plans, drawings, and photographs of each site.
• Assist Construction Manager and Facilities Administrator in providing project specific equipment requirements and costs for accurate issuance of Purchase Orders.
• Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines.
