The Food Service Specialist - Northeast Business Unit is responsible for supervising training and educating store teams on current and new product offerings, with a strong emphasis on Food Safety and Quality Assurance to ensure FSQA and HACCP regulatory requirements are met. This role also supervises new store start-ups and remodels for Foodservice, addresses issues in stores in real-time, and conducts trouble-shooting seminars. The specialist acts as a central contact person for stores regarding food service categories and collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure training materials are effective and aligned with company policies. They also coach under-performing stores, partner with District Managers, oversee new food service projects, maintain a database of training sessions, and develop training sessions to address market needs. The goal is to create a training environment that empowers people and fosters a cooperative learning atmosphere.
