About The Position

CUI is hiring motivated individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Cable Technicians. No prior cable experience is required—we provide paid training, hands-on mentorship, and a clear path for career advancement. As a Cable Technician, you'll install, troubleshoot, and maintain residential telecommunications services, including high-speed internet, cable television, home phone, and security systems. You'll work independently in the field while receiving ongoing support from experienced leaders and trainers.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be at least 23 years old
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and safely climb ladders up to 30 feet
Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and confined areas
Strong customer service and communication skills
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends

Responsibilities

Install, activate, and troubleshoot internet, cable television, telephone, and security services
Educate customers on equipment and services while delivering outstanding customer experiences
Perform service upgrades, repairs, and routine maintenance
Test and verify signal quality to ensure reliable service
Maintain inventory, tools, and equipment in your company-provided vehicle
Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
Accurately document completed work and customer interactions
Continuously develop technical skills through ongoing training and certification opportunities
