About The Position

STAR specializes in the custom design and manufacturing of physical experiences for exhibits, retail and corporate environments, and branded events. The Cabinetmaker/Builder helps construct complex projects for trade shows, events, spaces, and experiential activations, crafting expressive displays and experiences and helping ensure client projects exceed expectations. The role may occasionally involve working offsite with the STAR team for installation and dismantling.

Requirements

• Hands-on building and cabinetmaking experience.

Responsibilities

• Build exhibits for trade shows, retail displays, corporate interiors, activation events, and similar projects.
• Read CAD drawings and create or build components accordingly.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to meet build specifications.
• Use a variety of power tools and machine materials.
• Work independently from instructions and directions.
• Refurbish and repair existing exhibit components.
• Perform laminating.
• Maintain equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Occasionally work offsite with the STAR team for installation and dismantling.
