About The Position

As a Cabinet & Millwork Installer at Ackard, you’ll be hands-on in bringing our custom designs to life. You’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality installation of cabinetry and millwork produced by our in-house cabinet division. From reviewing plans to the final touch-ups, your precision and craftsmanship will ensure every install meets our standards—and wows our clients.

Requirements

  • Certification in cabinetry or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience installing residential cabinetry and millwork
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality craftsmanship and meeting deadlines
  • Positive attitude and professionalism, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven, with a passion for doing great work
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing plans and installation instructions to fully understand the scope of work
  • Asking clarifying questions to ensure accuracy and alignment with expectations
  • Measuring, marking, and laying out guidelines for installations
  • Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
  • Installing, repairing, and servicing millwork components
  • Keeping a daily log of progress using Buildertrend software
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe worksite through daily and weekly housekeeping
  • Following all company policies and safety procedures
  • Pitching in on other related tasks as needed by management
