Requirements

Millwork, carpentry, and a production experience (1-year minimum)
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to use hand held power tools, fabricating machines, and power equipment.
Analytical Skills - ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and plans.
Mechanical aptitude and good math skills to calculate measurements, such as length, surface area and volume. Ability to read a tape measure.
Must have skills working with basic woodworking tools. Basic understanding of woodworking materials and methods.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of 75 pounds.
Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms; use fine motor coordination and eye-hand coordination.
Frequently required to stand, talk and hear.
Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
As needed, demonstrate proper operation of equipment and general work techniques (tools and machine operation, etc.), including safety.
Knowledge of machines, equipment and tools, including appropriate use and basic maintenance.
Able to perform detailed work and maintain production, quality and safety under pressure and deadlines.
18 years of age or older
Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to use pneumatic and electrical hand tools, machinery and saws.
Ability to perform maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and saws.
Strict adherence to corporate values and LEAN manufacturing principles
Willing to submit to pre-employment background verification, medical review and drug and alcohol screening.
Willing to submit to random drug testing during employment.
Able to read, write, and communicate (speak, hear, and understand) English.
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including inclement and extreme temperatures.
Able to work on and around heavy equipment.
Able to follow written and oral directions.
Must have dependable transportation and telephone.

Responsibilities

Load company vehicles of outbound materials for installations.
Read cabinet drawings and specifications for installations in route to job site.
Participate in discussion with install crew to formulate daily plan in route to job sites.
Unload materials from trailer at job site and set up all required tools for installation.
Install cabinets using pneumatic and electrical hand tools. Verify dimensions and check the quality or fit pieces to ensure adherence to drawings and specifications.
Complete cabinet installation including puttying and sanding all seams and scribing all cabinets to finish floors within ⅛” tolerance. Move plumbing and plugs as needed.
Ensure that cabinets meet HTC quality standards.
Notify Lead Installer of any installation issues or damaged product.
Clean up job site and assist crew in loading all tools back into company vehicle.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Ensure safe operations of tools and equipment.
Utilize daily improvement time to evaluate ways to make your job simpler, safer and faster.
Complete special projects as assigned by Lead Cabinet Assembler.
Always perform duties in a safe and conscientious manner.
