About The Position

Choice Custom Cabinetry & Design has been building high-end, custom cabinetry since 1987. We're a faith-based cabinet & woodworking shop focused on craftsmanship, quality materials, and pieces built to last. Our team combines traditional woodworking skills with thoughtful design to create custom cabinetry that adds beauty, warmth, and function to our clients' homes. This role involves installing high-end custom cabinetry and finish carpentry in residential and commercial projects, ensuring precise fit, finish, and craftsmanship on every project.

Requirements

  • Previous experience installing cabinetry, finish carpentry, or woodworking is helpful
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • A strong understanding of materials, tools, and installation techniques is a plus
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs., bend, kneel, and carry pre-assembled cabinets is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience installing cabinetry, finish carpentry, or woodworking is helpful, but we are willing to train.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications; a strong understanding of materials, tools, and installation techniques is a plus.
  • Works independently, takes ownership of projects, and follows through from start to finish.
  • Takes pride in high-quality, detail-oriented work and clean, precise installs.
  • Represents the company well in customers' homes and communicates clearly on-site.
  • Shows up consistently and maintains a positive experience for customers and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Install high-end custom cabinetry and millwork in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, & fit materials to ensure precise installation and clean finishes.
  • Assemble & secure cabinets, trim, and finish carpentry components on-site.
  • Inspect installations and make adjustments or repairs as needed.
  • Work with designers, project managers, and customers to ensure each project meets expectations.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, and keep the job site clean and organized.
  • Follow safety practices and company standards on every job.
  • Travel to job sites (typically within a 3-hour radius) and complete installations as part of a skilled trade team, continuing to build skills through on-the-job training.
