About The Position

Sunayu, LLC has an exciting new opportunity to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). We are looking for professionals to help us manage and modernize the IT infrastructure that drives world-class language instruction for the DLIFLC’s diverse academic community. The individuals in this role will act as administrators for all web-based and mobile applications utilized to deliver curricula, conduct assessments, and track the progress of DLIFLC students. They will be tasked with the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and support of the organization's Learning Management System (LMS) platform. This includes ensuring the platform's smooth functionality by configuring settings, managing user access, uploading course content, troubleshooting technical issues, generating reports on learner progress, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the learning experience within the system.

Requirements

  • Strong technical proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard)
  • Understanding of instructional design principles and e-learning development
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Data analysis skills to interpret learning reports and metrics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant experience includes Sakai, Kaltura, Blackboard, Moodle, Angel, Webex, DCO, Connect, iOS, Confluence, SharePoint, Canvas.
  • BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5+ years
  • AA/AS degree with 7+ year’s experience
  • 9+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
  • IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) and applicable CE/OS Certification.
