About The Position

This role is for an IB-OB Distribution Lead who must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment. The individual must be able to follow instructions, safely and accurately complete assigned duties, and maintain all company standards. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, receiving materials and products, and picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products using a forklift and pallet jack. The role also involves maintaining receiving/shipping logs, ensuring incoming and outgoing products and materials are in good condition, and moving materials to the production area using the FEFO standard. The worker will assist the distribution supervisor in ensuring labor is on task and all quality standards are met, while also maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse. Workers are required to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand for most of the shift. This is a 100% on-site position reporting to the Distribution Supervisor.

Requirements

• Must pass forklift written test and driver test that is given by the company
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment
• Ability to make sound decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems when making decisions
• Ability to communicate both professionally and effectively with subordinates as well as all levels of management and cross-functional teams
• Reading, writing, basic English communication, basic math skills, Microsoft Office

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company safety Rules &Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)

Responsibilities
