About The Position

The C-Store General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, profitability, and overall success of a country store facility. This role involves leading staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, optimizing fuel and retail sales, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The General Manager must be a hands-on leader, capable of multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
  • 2+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
  • 2+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle check.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of fuel sales, retail, convenience store, restaurant, and other on-site services.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic marketing, promotions, community involvement and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Implement and enforce company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members to support long-term organizational growth and succession planning.
