About The Position

The C-Store Cashier provides customer service, supports retail sales, and processes point-of-sale transactions to help ensure guests have a positive shopping experience. The role also includes maintaining the store’s appearance and cleanliness, stocking merchandise, and keeping the gas pumps and exterior areas clean and managed. The cashier works collaboratively with team members and must remain composed and effective in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

• Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience.
