About The Position

The C-Store Cashier provides customer service and operates point-of-sale transactions at the store. The role includes greeting customers, helping create a pleasant shopping experience, and maintaining the store’s appearance, cleanliness, and organization. The cashier also stocks and cleans the store, maintains the gas pumps and the exterior appearance, and supports team members. The position requires multitasking and composure in a fast-paced environment, with flexible scheduling that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.

• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and to address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant experience, or customer service experience.
