About The Position

Assists C-Store Manager with store operations including, check out, merchandising, layout, inventory, bookkeeping, and maintenance. Acting Manager in Store Managers absence.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, combined with sufficient on-the-job experience to know the processes and variables to accurately manage a convenient store/retail store.
• Minimum of 5 years retail/store experience.
• Proficient in computer usage including POS systems and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Review, assign and follow up on daily work lists
• Supervise the sale of all retail goods and services include money drop procedures
• Monitor and maintain all food service areas
• Review, update, and correct retail pricing on all retail items
• Train, manage and supervise C-Store Clerks in Managers absence
• Perform open and close processes as needed
• Receive, verify, and process merchandise and vendor shipments
• Order merchandise to maintain proper inventory levels of product
• Oversee and/or stock, and display merchandise and supplies
