About The Position

Luck Stone’s Atlanta Plant is hiring a C&D Associate to support concrete recycling and aggregate operations. The role works with conveyor systems to sort and separate construction and demolition materials, including broken concrete and rock, for recycling into reusable aggregate and granular materials for construction. It is physical, hands-on work performed outdoors throughout the year in all weather conditions. The C&D Associate helps maintain a consistent and safe flow of materials, assists with aggregate and construction-debris operations and related machinery, performs pre-operation inspections, learns plant and equipment operations, and helps keep the site clean, organized, and safe. The position is onsite at the Atlanta Plant, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Team-oriented and dependable.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions across all seasons.

Nice To Haves

Prior pick line, assembly line, or sorting experience is preferred but not required.
Safety awareness.
Basic familiarity with construction or mining equipment.

Responsibilities

Sort stone, construction debris, and aggregate material flowing through conveyor systems.
Separate and sort specified products to ensure a consistent and safe flow of materials.
Assist with tasks related to the extraction, crushing, conveying, inventory, and service of aggregate stone products, construction debris, and associated machinery.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of the work area and plant at the start of each shift.
Familiarize yourself with equipment and plant operations to support safe and efficient day-to-day performance.
Help keep the site clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift.
