The C-12/King Air Army Transport Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P) performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on C-12/King Air (200/350/1900) aircraft. This role is responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying aircraft systems to ensure continued airworthiness. Repairs are performed on avionics & electrical systems, engines, flight controls, and airframe components using various tools and equipment. The mechanic must comply with aircraft records procedures, ensure discrepancies are properly recorded, and understand computerized maintenance software. Responsibilities also include performing aircraft recovery missions, engine run or taxi operations, and meeting certification requirements within 12 months of employment. The position requires reading and interpreting maintenance manuals to determine repair or replacement methods for malfunctioning components.
