About The Position

Perform repairs, modifications, and installations on C-12 aircraft avionics, wiring, components, flight controls, and P&W PT6A-41, PT6A-42, PT6A-60 PT6A-65 turbo prop engines. Operates ground support equipment and flight line vehicles. Must be able to read, write, and interpret instructions, technical manuals and/or directives necessary for the accomplishment of job assignment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks as assigned /directed by Maintenance Supervisors and/or Maintenance Manager in accordance with instructions, applicable technical data, manuals, and directives.
• Evaluates aircraft discrepancies to identify proper methods for repair.
• Identifies necessary parts, materials, and tooling requirements to complete tasks.
• Utilize manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, Maintenance Engineering Directives, schematics, drawings, blueprints, charts, and other applicable publications to install, test, troubleshoot, and ensure aircraft modifications are accomplished in a timely manner.
• Inspect for corrosion, treat, and repair discrepancies.
• Perform touch up painting and apply decals and labels.
• Prepare aircraft components for paint.
• Comply with and follow established standards of workmanship, safety, quality, and production.
