Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Automotive industry experience preferred
  • Experience with supplier negotiations and contract management
  • SAP purchasing experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process including RFQs, negotiations, contracts, and purchase orders
  • Conduct global and local sourcing activities and procurement market analyses
  • Develop, evaluate, and manage supplier portfolios including risk assessments
  • Coordinate purchasing activities with engineering, production, and other internal stakeholders
  • Prepare cost analyses, offer comparisons, and sourcing recommendations
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve cost and performance targets
  • Create and manage contracts and purchase orders in SAP
  • Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance
  • Support cost reduction initiatives and process improvement activities
  • Represent purchasing interests in interdisciplinary project teams
  • Organize supplier meetings, workshops, and performance reviews
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and contractual obligations
  • Ensure all safety and non-safety plant rules and regulations are followed
  • Adhere to established quality and housekeeping standards
  • Immediately report hazards, defects, or non-compliance issues
  • Take appropriate corrective action when substandard performance is observed
