Requirements

2+ years of purchasing, procurement, planning, or supply-chain experience (aerospace/electronics a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proactive mindset with strong sense of urgency
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and analytical thinking
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
ITAR requirement
Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify U.S. person status under the ITAR and the EAR. Responsibilities

Issues purchase orders from ERP-generated recommendations and material planner requirements
Selects suppliers from the pre-approved AVL and follows existing pricing agreements, templates, and contracts
Performs routine follow-up on open POs for order confirmation, lead-time verification, and on-time delivery
Updates ERP with promised dates, pricing, MOQs, and standard supplier correspondence
Obtains spot-buy quotations and partners with site management for approval
Processes supplier invoices and resolves basic mismatches with Accounts Payable
Escalates all delivery delays, quality issues, pricing disputes, or supplier performance problems to site management
Supports data cleanup, blanket-order releases, inventory reports, and ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Expedite production orders to assist with Customer needs
