About The Position

Lucky 21 is a leading e-commerce retailer and marketplace partner specializing in apparel across Amazon, Walmart.com, and other online marketplaces. We represent more than 100 national brands and have experienced consistent growth since our founding in 2015. Our success is driven by thoughtful merchandising, data-driven decision making, technology, and strong vendor partnerships. We combine merchandising expertise with marketplace intelligence to optimize product performance, pricing, inventory, and brand growth. We’re looking for an experienced Buyer / Brand Manager who is passionate about product, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys making data-backed decisions that drive profitable growth. This position reports to the SVP of Merchandising.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
5+ years of buying, merchandising, category management, or brand management experience required.
Apparel buying or merchandising experience is required.
Amazon marketplace experience strongly preferred.
Experience with Walmart Marketplace or other major e-commerce platforms is a plus.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Comfortable learning and adopting new technologies and systems.
Must be comfortable using AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms as part of daily work.

Responsibilities

Develop assortment strategies that maximize sales, profitability, and inventory productivity.
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and identify opportunities for growth.
Analyze sales, inventory, margin, and marketplace performance to make informed buying decisions.
Monitor trends, competitive pricing, and customer demand to identify new product opportunities.
Partner with Advertising, Operations, Photography, Logistics, and Customer Experience teams to successfully launch and manage products.
Own product lifecycle management from initial purchase through sell-down.
Proactively communicate business performance, opportunities, risks, and inventory concerns.
Use data to continuously optimize assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.
Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and similar technologies to improve research, analysis, communication, and workflow efficiency.
