About The Position

The Busser assists servers in providing quality service to guests and supports the management team as needed. The role prepares and maintains tables and service stations, delivers bread and water, clears and resets tables, and completes assigned side work. Duties may change with business needs, and essential and marginal job functions are subject to modification. Requirements

Ability to communicate and understand directions in English to ensure workplace safety.
Ability to understand, respond to, and engage with coworkers, managers, and guests in English.
Flexible schedule.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Detail-oriented.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work on feet for at least 8 hours.
Ability to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.
Ability to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds.
Ability to move quickly between areas of the club.
Ability to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required.

Responsibilities

Set up tables with the appropriate mise en place, including ketchup, salt and pepper, HP sauce, and sugar bowls.
Ensure all stations are fully stocked and ready for service, and maintain them throughout service.
Set up candles on tables.
Detail tables before service to ensure place settings are neat and organized.
Deliver bread and water to tables in the assigned section and assist other sections when necessary.
Keep the bread warmer organized and full.
Clear tables between courses.
Clear and reset tables for new guests.
Complete assigned side work before and after service, as detailed on side work sheets.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
