About The Position

Schmidt’s Restaurant und Sausage Haus is looking for enthusiastic, high energy, Bussers who enjoy a challenge. Full-time and part-time positions available. Our family owned and operated business has over 130 years in the food service industry.

Requirements

• Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand and work 8–10-hour shifts
• Ability to lift 40 pounds to chest height
• Organized, friendly, and energetic and outgoing
• Open availability for shifts Monday – Sunday including days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays (we are closed Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving)
• Reliable transportation

• Experience helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

• Clearing tables upon guest departure
• Sanitizing tables, chairs, common touch points
• Sweeping in stations
• Maintaining restrooms
• Working with dish tank to ensure clean plates and flatware are always available
• Additional responsibilities as requested by the management team.
