About The Position

The Busser is responsible for cleaning and resetting tables and monitoring them for guest needs while providing courteous, efficient service. The role supports Food Servers throughout guests’ meals, maintains clean and stocked side stations, and helps ensure a neat and pleasurable dining experience. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment and being available to work all shifts. The Busser reports directly to the Food & Beverage Supervisor and then the Food & Beverage Manager.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills; polite demeanor and neat appearance at all times.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
• Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
• Proven experience providing high-level guest service.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Availability to work all shifts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain all work cards required by the company.
• Ability to verify the right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables according to venue standards.
• Assist Food Servers during guests’ meals, observe guests for service requests, and clear dishes after guests finish eating.
• Maintain clean side stations and stock dishes, silverware, paper supplies, and other required items.
• Answer guest questions and refer them to appropriate management personnel when necessary.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and respond accordingly.
• Maintain professional grooming and appearance.
• Keep sight lines neat and organized.
• Sweep or mop as necessary.
• Serve ice water as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
