About The Position

At Hemingway's Tavern and Meg O’Malley’s, our Bussers are essential to creating an exceptional dining experience. By keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and ready for every guest, you'll help our servers, bartenders, and hosts provide outstanding hospitality from the moment guests arrive until they leave. Requirements

• Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented
• Strong work ethic and willingness to stay active throughout the shift
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent guest service
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8-hour shifts
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver trays, bus tubs, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move quickly throughout the restaurant

Responsibilities

• Keep the dining room, bar, and guest areas clean, organized, and safe throughout each shift
• Quickly bus, clean, and reset tables according to company standards to ensure timely seating
• Maintain clean and fully stocked restrooms and handwashing stations
• Support servers, bartenders, and hosts to ensure efficient guest service
• Communicate with the host and serving team to maximize table availability and guest flow
• Assist guests whenever needed and help resolve concerns by communicating with the appropriate team members
• Complete assigned side work and proactively look for ways to support the team during service
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant while following company sanitation and safety standards
