The Busperson is responsible for preparing dining rooms for use, cleans appropriate areas, sets tables for further use, and stocks the To-Go area while ensuring a positive guest experience. This role involves setting up and replenishing server stations with polished china, glassware, and silverware, as well as condiments. The Busperson ensures place settings are correct and that each guest has a napkin, polished silverware, and any other necessary items. They utilize trays for pre-bussing and bussing tables, ensuring all trays are organized with safety in mind. All soiled items are to be delivered to the dish room, and trash discarded in designated bins. Soiled linen is to be bagged and removed to a designated area. The Busperson must maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures, and notify management of any maintenance issues. They will also pick up food orders from the kitchen and deliver them to guests rapidly and accurately, and manage inventory.
