About The Position
The Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation has a rich history, evolving from a community of people farming, hunting, and fishing centuries ago to a modern Tribe that governs its Reservation, owns and operates a Casino and a Golf Resort, and holds other business ventures in the San Diego Region. Sycuan maintains a strong sense of community, viewing itself as a family working together. The Busser-Pool Bar position is responsible for providing servers and guests with a clean and stocked pool area, contributing to a memorable guest experience within the Sycuan family.
Requirements
- County of San Diego Food Handler Card
- Ability to work effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
- Ability to understand verbal directives and written instructions
- Ability to routinely lift and carry 50 pounds
- Ability to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time
- Ability to bend, stoop, push and pull
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
- Ability to appear for work on time

Responsibilities
- Ensures safe and sanitary dining areas
- Provides excellent guest service
- Assists food delivery service from kitchen to guests (i.e. cabana, daybed, lounge chair, bar)
- Ensures work stations are stocked and clean
- Maintains a clean and orderly pool area
