About The Position

The Busser supports the dining room team by keeping tables clean and properly set and helping service flow smoothly so Members can enjoy an uninterrupted dining experience. The position clears and resets tables, prepares tables to Club standards, replenishes water and bread, assists servers with non-alcoholic items, maintains dining and service areas, transports and organizes dishware, and restocks service stations. The Busser also helps set up private events and Member functions, communicates table status to servers and management, and follows Club sanitation and safety procedures. Employees may be asked to perform other duties to support Club operations.

The role requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and involves extended periods of standing and walking as well as lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds. Pay is $16.90. Offers are contingent on a successful background check and drug screening.

Requirements

• Food Handler certification, or ability to obtain it.
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Fully flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to grasp, use finger dexterity, bend, and twist.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk on various surfaces for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Prior bussing, food running, or dining room experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clear and promptly reset tables between courses and after guests depart.
• Set tables to Club standards, including linens, flatware, glassware, and china.
• Refill water and bread service and assist servers with delivering non-alcoholic items as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, patio, and service stations throughout each shift.
• Safely transport dishware to the dish pit and assist with sorting and organization.
• Restock service stations with linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments.
• Help other employees and perform different duties as needed to support Club operations.
• Assist with room turns and setup for private events and Member functions.
• Communicate table status and readiness promptly to servers and management.
• Follow Club sanitation and safety procedures.
