About The Position

Ten Five Hospitality is launching The Oak Room, a restaurant and lounge concept in Georgetown, and is seeking experienced professionals to help create an elevated dining experience. Bussers ensure tables are properly set and cleared, silverware is correctly placed, and water service is maintained. They support servers and help maintain a clean, well-organized dining room while delivering exceptional hospitality.

Requirements

Six months of previous bar, restaurant, or hotel experience.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Ability to focus on guest interaction and multitask.
Team-player approach and ability to anticipate others’ needs.
Positive attitude.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
Ability to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for an extended period.
Ability to maneuver at a well-paced speed while multiple functions occur simultaneously.
May need to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to complete cleaning tasks.
Ability to bend or lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist with guest requests and server needs when asked or as needed.
Maintain cleanliness by picking up debris and cleaning spills or grease from the floor.
Check chairs, banquettes, and areas beneath tables to ensure the dining room is clean.
Work collaboratively as a team member, helping others and requesting help when needed.
Reset tables according to the floor plan.
Restock servers’ stations with silverware, plate ware, and glassware.
Help clear tables with assistance from a server.
Provide and maintain water service.
Mark tables corresponding to the assigned server section.
Perform other duties as assigned.
