About The Position

Bussers help prepare Flanigan’s Dining Rooms, Bars, and Patios for service by continuously cleaning and setting up these areas. They support Servers, Bartenders, and the rest of the team through clearing, cleaning, interacting with guests, and maintaining a well-prepared restaurant.

Requirements

• Frequently reach, bend, and stoop.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, including lifting heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, and freezers.
• Work in a damp, high-temperature environment, indoors and minimally outdoors.
• Complete and pass the Florida Responsible Vendor program in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.
• Complete and pass the food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.
• Speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Clean and set up tables for new guests in a timely manner.
• Assist guests by clearing dishes and glassware.
• Remove trash and debris from bar and dining area floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, outside parking areas, patios, and waiting areas.
• Ensure high chairs and booster seats are sanitary.
• Perform shift changes, opening and closing duties, and assigned sidework.
