About The Position

As a Busser at Shin Dig, you help maintain a clean and organized restaurant and support a pleasant dining experience for guests. You clear and reset tables, assist servers and kitchen staff, restock supplies, interact with guests, and contribute to overall restaurant cleanliness. No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. The role requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, and carrying trays or bus tubs weighing up to 30 pounds for extended periods. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required. Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables promptly after guests depart; remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils and transport them to the dishwashing area.
• Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, and condiment containers.
• Assist servers by refilling drinks, delivering food orders, and providing additional items to guests as needed.
• Coordinate with servers to ensure tables are ready for new guests.
• Transport dishes from the kitchen to the dining area and ensure food orders reach the correct tables.
• Keep server and busser stations clean and organized; restock napkins, utensils, and condiments as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace trash bags when necessary.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, respond to requests, and address inquiries or concerns, escalating them to servers or management when necessary.
• Assist with restaurant cleanliness, including sweeping and mopping floors and cleaning windows.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to appropriate personnel.
