About The Position

The Busser supports bartenders, cocktail staff, and wait staff by maintaining clean service areas and helping provide fast, friendly, accommodating service. The role contributes to the Guest experience by supporting food, beverage, and game service in a fun environment. Duties include keeping bus stands and wait stations clean and stocked; emptying trash and spot-sweeping; completing opening, closing, and party breakdown tasks; preparing supplies for shift changes or closing; checking food garnishes and following tray procedures; bussing and resetting tables; delivering food; clearing dishes and glassware; refilling beverages; helping set up parties; and cleaning restrooms, high chairs, and booster chairs. The Busser also assists other Team members as needed. The position requires friendly, clear communication with Guests and Team members and the ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment. Team members may be scheduled days, nights, and/or weekends. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not required. Compensation is listed as $11.35–$12 per hour; the posting also separately lists a salary range of $12.15–$15.15.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be friendly and able to smile while working.
Must demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team members.
Must be able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.
Must be able to read and write handwritten notes.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to move about the facility and stand for long periods; walking or standing for 100% of the shift is required.
Must work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.

Nice To Haves

Restaurant and/or bar experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain bus stand cleanliness and stocking.
Keep wait stations clean.
Empty trash and spot-sweep as needed or when requested by a Manager.
Perform opening and closing responsibilities, including party breakdown duties.
Restock and prepare supplies for shift changes and closing.
Ensure food is properly garnished before running it to Guests.
Follow tray procedures to minimize loss and ensure food is delivered timely and correctly.
Bus and reset tables.
Deliver food to tables and ensure Guests have what they need.
Clear dishes and glassware and refill beverages for Guests.
Assist with party setup.
Clean and restock restrooms.
Clean high chairs and booster chairs.
Assist other Team members as needed or as business needs dictate.
Adhere to company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Provide friendly service and communicate clearly with Guests and Team members.
