About The Position

Join Turning Stone Enterprises as a Business Travel Sales Manager and help shape the future of one of the region’s premier hospitality and entertainment destinations. In this dynamic sales role, you’ll drive corporate travel revenue, build strong client relationships, and create innovative strategies that support the growth of our expanding hotel and conference portfolio—including The Crescent and The Grand Expo. Level I: Identify and solicit new corporate transient accounts within assigned market segments Support annual RFP process including account entry, tracking, and follow-up Maintain and grow assigned portfolio of local and regional corporate accounts Drive room night production and ADR through negotiated rate agreements Partner with Revenue Optimization to understand pricing and inventory strategy Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations Utilize Delphi and CRM systems to manage account activity and reporting Level II: Mastery of Level I skills Manage high-value regional and national corporate accounts Lead RFP strategy for assigned accounts including rate positioning and negotiations Identify new demand generators and expand market share within key industries Drive ancillary revenue through cross-selling resort offerings Collaborate with Group Sales on crossover opportunities Analyze production, pace, and performance trends to adjust strategy Level III: Mastery of Level II skills Lead corporate transient segment strategy across the enterprise Own top-tier national accounts and complex multi-property negotiations Partner closely with Revenue Optimization on pricing, displacement, and mix strategy Present performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership Mentor and guide junior sales managers or coordinators Drive innovation in business travel strategy, tools, and processes Adept in reporting, annual business planning, budgeting, and goal setting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Must in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Strong understanding of dynamic pricing, hotel revenue yield management.
  • Organization is a key attribute along with the ability to meet deadlines and handle difficult negotiation situations.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule; including weekends and holidays and travel for trade shows, conventions and other client networking meetings.
  • Knowledge and experience using various office software programs: Microsoft Office, Delphi.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 21 - 30 pounds.
