You’ll lead complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap. As a Business Systems Consultant (BSC), you’ll support end-to-end project implementation and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology. You’ll ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and set up flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Requirements

• At least 4 years in requirements gathering, documentation and data analysis.
• At least 2 years of experience in Jira / Confluence, Agile and Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF) experience.
• A degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.
• At least 4 years in a BSC role leading projects and designing solutions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Application and/or Architecture Development experience

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap.
• Support end-to-end project implementation and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology.
• Ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and set up flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.
• Work closely with business partners to gather complicated business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs.
• Create strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements.
• Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
• Build strong relationships and partnerships with technical team members, business team and peers.
• Demonstrate very strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
