About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a Business Systems Analyst for a hybrid role in Grand Rapids, MI. This position requires expertise in the Optum Claims Editing System (CES) with integration experience with Facets and Epic Tapestry. The analyst will be responsible for CES configuration, edit implementation, and system alignments, collaborating across functions to enhance claims adjudication workflows and ensure alignment with payer strategies. The role involves defining systems scope and objectives, documenting requirements, and troubleshooting existing systems, while considering the business implications of technology. This position also involves assisting less experienced Business Systems Analysts.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Optum Claims Editing System (CES) with integration experience with Facets and Epic Tapestry.
  • Optum CES and Facets experience.
  • Associate's Degree or Technical school or equivalent.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Experience formulating and defining systems scopes and objectives.
  • Experience in systems development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and design.
  • Participant in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation.
  • Background in a health care, sciences or information systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Epic Tapestry experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Driving CES configuration, edit implementation, and system alignments.
  • Enhancing claims adjudication workflows and ensuring alignment with payer strategies, Optum CES and Facets.
  • Formulating and defining systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding, combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
  • Developing or modifying moderately-sized information systems.
  • Analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic issues as necessary.
  • Considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
  • Assisting and advising less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.
  • Performing business analysis, workflow analysis and optimization.
  • Working with users to define their needs and then document requirements.
  • Collaborating with others to troubleshoot issues with existing systems.
  • Remaining current with business requirements and needs, based upon future industry trends and changes and understands the implications for existing technology.
