About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst position is a newly created role designed to support the organization’s ability to validate, reconcile, and interpret data across multiple systems, including Salesforce, D365, APIs, and other data sources. This role is responsible for analyzing raw data, identifying irregularities, and ensuring the accuracy of key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational reports. The Business Systems Analyst will actively test new data drops, investigate discrepancies, and verify that backend data structures are functioning as intended. Success in this position requires someone who is naturally curious, detail-oriented, and able to approach data challenges like solving a puzzle—using logical thinking to determine when information “doesn’t look right” and digging deeper to understand why. The role involves building dashboards, validating system outputs, and cross-matching data across platforms, including CSV files, relational databases and table structures, to ensure the end-user experience is reliable and accurate. The ideal candidate brings experience in IT, financial systems, or systems implementation, along with applied knowledge of data analysis tools and processes. This individual should be comfortable communicating with non-technical end users and collaborating with leadership. Flexibility, clear communication, and humility are important traits for success. While there is no defined upward career ladder, the role offers opportunities to work closely with regional leadership and gain broader organizational exposure.

  • Ability to connect Power Automate with enterprise applications—such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and CRM/ERP systems—using standard and custom API connectors.
  • Understand cloud flows, desktop flows (RPA), and business process flows to handle approvals, data synchronization, and multi-step tasks.
  • Ability to analyze raw data, interpret trends, detect irregularities, and validate accuracy of mapped information.
  • Proficiency working with CSV files, pulling reports, reconciling mismatches and data types, and reviewing backend tables for accuracy and completeness.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically and identify when data outputs are incorrect or inconsistent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication for gathering requirements and training non-technical end users.
  • Strong understanding of business process management, data structures, and conditional logic.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality is essential, requiring the Associate to exercise complete discretion with all sensitive materials they encounter.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with end users and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze raw data across multiple systems (Salesforce, D365, APIs, Databases, CSVs) to identify irregularities and ensure accuracy of KPIs and operational outputs
  • Pull, review, and reconcile reports by comparing data tables, identifying mismatches, and validating whether information has been mapped correctly.
  • Support the monitoring of automation performance, assist with implementing error-handling solutions, and contribute to the optimization of existing workflows to improve scalability, security, and speed.
  • Monitor backend system changes and detects when alterations to tables or structures impact data accuracy or system outputs.
  • Test and validate new data drops, ensuring information flows correctly to end-user dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, assist with mapping data from storage systems, and help verify the accuracy of calculated values and displayed outputs.
  • Perform cross-matching of data (e.g., city/state codes, CSV fields) to verify accuracy and completeness of mapped information.
  • Support stakeholder engagement efforts by assisting in the identification of automation opportunities, gathering business requirements, and documenting current-state processes.
