About The Position

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to serve as a strategic liaison between IT and business units, ensuring our technology solutions align with operational goals. This role focuses on the implementation, customization, and optimization of our ERP system (Epicor Prophet 21), business applications, and reporting/BI capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a solid grasp of business processes, and the ability to translate requirements into effective IT solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Epicor Prophet 21 and BI/reporting applications.
Proficiency in SQL with the ability to design, debug, and optimize complex queries.
Demonstrated expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for creating accurate and visually effective reports.
Experience in project management and change management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for ERP and application-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Lead implementations, customizations, and upgrades of Epicor Prophet 21 in line with company strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deploy new ERP features and maximize system functionality.
Manage the design, testing, and deployment of integrations, ensuring accurate dataflows and automation.
Analyze system performance, identify gaps, and recommend or implement process improvements.
Act as a bridge between IT and business units, translating business needs into technical requirements.
Develop and deliver training materials for software applications, while providing ongoing user support.
Design and enhance reporting and BI systems, tools, and processes.
Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports to meet business needs.
