About The Position

As the Business Systems Analyst with the Tennessee Titans, this role will serve as point person for the club supporting cross-functional privacy efforts focused on protecting personal information and building fan trust. This role will liaise with the NFL Privacy Office and serve as the primary point of contact for responding to fan requests (e.g. data subject requests or do not sell requests) and provide support for other privacy initiatives (e.g. cookie and other digital tracking compliance). Additionally, this role will work with enterprise applications to ensure successful system usage across the organization. This role will provide excellent exposure to many data-fueled strategic business initiatives being undertaken by the Team. Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day implementation, monitoring, and compliance of privacy program processes and technology for organization. Establish and oversee the data governance framework, including data quality, observability, data security, data privacy, data catalogues, dictionaries, and data lineage policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring privacy by design quality standards are established and effectuated throughout business initiatives involving personal information. Liaises with other areas of the enterprise (e.g., Business Strategy & Analytics, Legal, Marketing, and Information Technology) to translate regulatory requirements into business and technical requirements. Drives privacy awareness and acumen within the business and serves as a first line privacy advisor to business units. Maintains knowledge and awareness of the evolving privacy regulatory landscape, including changes to applicable privacy laws, regulations, and related company policies. Engage with privacy working groups and the NFL Privacy Office on a regular cadence regarding privacy reporting, adherence, and issue escalation. Work with business units and vendors to gather requirements, select, implement and maintain technologies, systems, and processes needed to drive the business forward. Ensure data privacy compliance surrounding digital properties, trackers, cookies, consent management, data subject requests, etc. Develop and implement data privacy policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degrees in a relevant field, such as analytics, cybersecurity, computer engineering, computer science, or IT.
  • 1-3 years previous relevant work experience in data privacy, data analytics, privacy compliance, IT, audit, risk management, or related fields.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
  • Demonstrated understanding of data privacy laws such as CPRA and/or GDPR.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within minimal oversight and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to seek relevant privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP) and training.

Nice To Haves

  • OneTrust Professional/Expert or similar certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of data management, data systems, privacy-enhancing technology tools and information security practices.
