About The Position

Continental Finance Company is a growing financial technology company specializing in credit card options for consumers with less than perfect credit. The Business Systems Analyst will support the Information Technology team as a member of an agile development team. This role is critical in capturing and conveying business and customer needs to the development team within the agile Scrum process, delivering software products and services to internal stakeholders and external customers.

Requirements

Strong understanding of agile principles.
Experience working as part of an integrated software development team in an agile methodology.
Experience as a business analyst working on both customer-facing web applications and internal business applications.
Experience writing clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tool for managing user stories and sprints.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Able to interpret business needs into projects.

Responsibilities

Engage with the business and product owners to gather and analyze requirements to define solutions that deliver outstanding value to our customers.
Work closely with the development team and QA analysts to ensure solutions being delivered meet the needs of the business and our customers.
Develop user stories, acceptance criteria and screen mockups that effectively communicate requirements to the rest of the development team.
Participate in sprint rituals such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
Play an active role in the continuous improvement of our software delivery processes.
