About The Position

EnerSys is a global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications. We are seeking an Entry-Level Business Systems Analyst with strong analytical and technical aptitude to support business process analysis, documentation, and workflow automation initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with members of the DevOps team to deliver identified workflow improvement initiatives across the organization. The position involves process mapping, requirements gathering, solution design, development, support, and the ongoing sustainment of automated workflows built on our in-house automation platforms. Experience with AI-enabled platforms and Power BI is considered an asset. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders, and motivated to build a career at the intersection of business process improvement and technology. Given the communication-intensive nature of this role, strong oral and written communication skills are essential. This includes experience producing standard Business and Systems Analyst documentation such as RACI matrices, process flows, fishbone diagrams, BRDs, FRDs, RTMs, ERDs, system specifications, and use cases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Foundational understanding of business process analysis and process modeling concepts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Exposure to workflow automation or Business Process Management (BPM) tools.
  • Experience creating process diagrams using tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
  • Basic technical knowledge of databases, system integrations, or scripting concepts.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with process stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze existing business processes, including current-state workflows, inputs, outputs, and control points.
  • Participate with DevOps teams in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions to support system and design decisions.
  • Develop clear process maps and diagrams (e.g., swimlane diagrams, BPMN, flowcharts) to document current- and future-state processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate process documentation, proposed improvements, and assist with testing and change management activities.
  • Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of automated workflows using tools such as WorkflowGen, UiPath, Power Apps, and SharePoint.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional workflow specifications.
  • Assist with the development of forms, routing logic, approvals, and notifications.
  • Participate in workflow testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Perform daily monitoring of automated workflows to ensure successful execution, in accordance with established policies and procedures supporting IT General Controls (ITGC).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation to support audit and compliance requirements.
