About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will support critical Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives, with a focus on directory services including Oracle Unified Directory and Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID. This role will partner closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to drive requirements, improve identity processes, and support delivery of enterprise directory and access solutions. You will work with a senior, highly experienced team, requiring strong communication, organization, and facilitation skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in financial services or a regulated environment
  • Strong experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) and directory services
  • Hands-on or working knowledge of Oracle Unified Directory and Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID
  • Proven expertise in requirements facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience using JIRA, ServiceNow, and/or Clarizen
  • Solid project management / project coordination experience
  • Ability to step into a Project management role if required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort engaging senior-level stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Strong ability to create system diagrams, data flows, and architecture documentation (e.g., Visio, Figma)
  • Experience with identity lifecycle processes (joiner/mover/leaver), group management, and access provisioning
  • Understanding of security and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, FFIEC)
  • Experience working in Agile or Kanban delivery environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering and facilitation sessions with business, security, and technical stakeholders
  • Translate complex needs into clear, well-structured functional and technical documentation
  • Support initiatives involving directory services, identity lifecycle management, and access controls
  • Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams on Active Directory, Entra ID, and Oracle Unified Directory integrations and enhancements
  • Create and maintain process flows, system diagrams, and architecture visuals (highly preferred)
  • Utilize tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, and Clarizen to manage requirements, workflows, and delivery tracking
  • Partner with project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of IAM initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between senior stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clarity
  • Support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements through thorough documentation and traceability
