About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst works under general supervision with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, specify, communicate, and validate business and solution requirements. The role connects the customer community with solution delivery teams, builds shared understanding among diverse stakeholders, and maintains alignment with Business and IT Strategies. The analyst should be able to transition to unfamiliar business and systems domains with minimal guidance. The position typically does not lead others, though it may serve as a team lead on small to medium initiatives and provide limited coaching to less experienced analysts. The analyst owns the requirements definition process for assigned work, investigates data to understand business problems, and uses analysis to validate assumptions, assess impact, and support recommendations. The role ensures requirements are clear, prioritized, approved, traceable, and covered by testing. It also supports project planning, risk and change management, defect resolution, measurement of analysis quality, and continuous process improvement. The analyst may support multiple initiatives at once.
