Overview JOB TITLE: Business Systems Analyst WORKSITE LOCATION: Tysons, VA
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or a related field (Employer will accept a combination of education deemed equivalent to a Bachelor's degree) plus 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or any related occupation performing business analysis for software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements for systems supporting fabrication, procurement, and inventory workflows.
- Define acceptance criteria and translate business needs into functional specifications.
- Analyze current processes and recommend improvements through system enhancements or new solutions.
- Prepare process maps and documentation for ERP and fabrication-support systems.
- Coordinate user acceptance activities by preparing scripts and guiding business users through validation steps.
- Design and validate B2B integration scenarios, including data mapping and reconciliation.
- Work with the software team and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve gaps.
- Prepare compliance and audit documentation to ensure systems align with financial and procurement policies.
- Deliver business intelligence reports and analytics for stakeholders to provide actionable insights on fabrication and operational performance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies for process improvement.
