Department Summary The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) solves organizational information problems by analyzing requirements, designing reports and application solutions, and recommending system controls and protocols. The BSA serves as the critical liaison between business units, technology teams, and support functions—translating business needs into actionable requirements and driving continuous improvement across enterprise systems. In this entry-level role, the BSA works on clearly defined tasks under close supervision, building foundational skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and system analysis while contributing to small, well-scoped projects with guidance.
