Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong foundation in business process engineering to join our team. In this role you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, leveraging your expertise to drive process optimization, requirements gathering, and solution delivery. The ideal candidate combines deep analytical skills with hands-on ERP knowledge to improve end-to-end business operations across sales, purchasing, service, and finance functions. Core Responsibilities Business Process Engineering Analyze, document, and map current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) business processes using standard modeling methodologies such as BPMN, value stream mapping, and swim-lane diagrams. Identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and redundancies; propose and implement measurable improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Facilitate cross-functional workshops and stakeholder interviews to elicit business requirements, define scope, and validate process changes. Develop business cases, feasibility analyses, and cost-benefit assessments for proposed process and system improvements. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and process metrics to track improvement outcomes and ensure sustained performance gains. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Serve as the primary functional analyst for the Sales, Purchasing, Service, and Finance modules within Business Central, ensuring configurations align with business requirements. Translate business needs into functional specifications for Business Central customizations, extensions, and workflow automations. Support end-to-end order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and financial close process design and optimization within Business Central. Assist with general ledger setup, chart of accounts maintenance, financial reporting configurations, and period-end closing procedures within the Finance module. Collaborate with developers and implementation partners to test, validate, and deploy Business Central changes, updates, and extensions. Provide user training, create documentation, and deliver ongoing functional support for Business Central users across the organization. Salesforce – Integration-Focused Support Understand Salesforce data objects, record types, and business processes that participate in the integration between Salesforce and Business Central (e.g., accounts, contacts, opportunities, and orders). Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and integration teams to define and validate data mapping, field synchronization, and handoff points between CRM and ERP. Monitor and troubleshoot integration-related data discrepancies between Salesforce and Business Central, escalating platform-specific issues to the appropriate staff. System Integration & Data Management Document the integration between Business Central, Salesforce, and other applications. Collaborate with leadership and integration developers to define data mapping changes, transformation rules, and synchronization logic changes. Participate in integration testing, data validation, and troubleshooting of API-based data flows. Maintain data dictionaries, integration specifications, and system interface documentation to ensure organizational knowledge continuity.
