About The Position

This position supports PSEG’s Electric, Gas, and Transmission divisions with billing and collection of infrastructure relocation project costs. It uses SAP, an in-house SQL database, and Microsoft tools to analyze project costs—including verification, assessment, projection, and true-ups—for project managers and other internal and external stakeholders. The role coordinates with process owners to ensure cost information is accurate and clearly presented for invoicing state agencies and other third-party customers. At this time, only current PSEG employees are being considered. The specialist provides technical and financial support for third-party billing, monitors receivables, prepares reports and project documentation, and works with project managers, engineers, and technicians to understand project progress and financial status. The position also maintains project data, resolves billing and collection issues, analyzes variances, and recommends process improvements. Some work requires an onsite presence within the division. During emergency restoration efforts, employees may be assigned duties outside their normal responsibilities and may work a different schedule.
