About the position
The job overview for the Business Support Specialist role at Grammarly is to provide accurate and empathetic support to Grammarly Business and Grammarly for Education customers. The specialist will collaborate with various departments to build strong customer relations, scale support capabilities, and meet service level agreements. They will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations via email and chat, troubleshooting product-related issues, and improving customer service procedures. The ideal candidate should embody Grammarly's values, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to collaborate in person for 2 weeks per quarter.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, empathetic, and on-brand support to Grammarly Business and Grammarly for Education customers
- Collaborate closely with key Grammarly Business departments to build strong customer relations, scale support capabilities, and meet SLAs
- Maintain positive and satisfactory customer relations via email and chat
- Assist with various product-related issues, including planning, installation, training, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrading, and offboarding
- Complete General Support training and autonomously troubleshoot low and medium-complexity cases by month three
- Contribute to the team's OKRs by solving all user interaction types with speed and quality by month six
- Help boost team efficiency by improving customer service procedures, policies, and standards by the end of year one
- Embody the EAGER values (ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable)
- Collaborate in person 2 weeks per quarter, traveling if necessary to the hub where the team is based
- Provide exceptional service experience by waking up in the morning with the intention to do so
- Possess excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Be a clear communicator with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Have strong reading comprehension and attention to detail.
