About The Position

The Business Solutions Manager – Pharmacies plays a key role in creating value for pharmacies within the Sandoz Canada Retail Marketing team. This individual is responsible for developing, deploying, and optimizing business solutions tailored to market needs, working closely with sales teams and internal and external partners. The role serves as a reference point for business solutions and contributes to positioning Sandoz as a strategic partner to pharmacists, beyond the product itself. Sandoz continues to go through an exciting and transformative period as a global leader and pioneering provider of sustainable Biosimilar and Generic medicines. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, sciences, pharmacy, or a related/relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Canadian pharmacy environment (essential).
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in business solutions and/or marketing strategy in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years in project management.
  • Experience in a regulated environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with demonstrated interest in and ease with new technologies.
  • Fluency in oral and written French is mandatory.
  • Oral and written fluency in English is required for regular communication with customers, partners, and/or colleagues, whether in Canada or internationally.
  • Must be based in the greater Montreal area.
  • High level of rigor and compliance mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communicator, able to influence and mobilize sales teams.
  • Good understanding of the retail pharmacy market.
  • Innovative mindset and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the market and identify opportunities.
  • Develop innovative solutions that address pharmacy needs.
  • Manage external partners involved in delivering solutions.
  • Negotiate and manage agreements with partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Pricing).
  • Ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
  • Maintain rigorous administrative follow-up.
  • Plan and coordinate solution implementation.
  • Develop tools and materials for sales teams.
  • Support integration of solutions into commercial strategies.
  • Ensure project follow-up (budgets, timelines, deliverables).
  • Train and support field teams.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze results and recommend optimizations.
