About The Position

As a Business Services Specialist I, you will play a key role in supporting our business members and lending team by providing exceptional service, facilitating business loan processing and servicing, and helping ensure seamless member experience from application through closing and ongoing account support. As a Business Services Specialist I, you will serve as the primary frontline contact for the Business Services Department. Working closely with Business Services Officers, business members, and internal teams, you'll assist with business loan processing, loan servicing, cash management solutions, and deposit products while maintaining compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and enjoys building relationships while delivering outstanding member service.

Requirements

• One to three years of financial services experience, preferably involving commercial or business lending.
• Customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with business lending operations and financial documentation is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary frontline contact for the Business Services Department.
• Assist with business loan processing, loan servicing, cash management solutions, and deposit products.
• Maintain compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support loan processing and servicing activities, including document preparation, funding coordination, file maintenance, and loan review tracking.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effectively communicate timelines, manage expectations, and respond promptly to inquiries.
